Scope

The Commercial Yachting <500 GT <200 NM course has been designed to meet the requirements of the STCW Convention 1978, as amended, Table A-II/1. 

Prerequisites

Either one of these: 

  • Belgian Yachtman 
  • Belgian Yachtnavigator 
  • RYA Yachtmaster Offshore 
  • RYA Yachtmaster Ocean 
  • Belgian CY 200 GT old version based on STCW A-VII 
  • European Union CY 200 GT

+ All of these: 

  • Basic Safety Training (STCW A-VI/1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4)
  • Security Awarenes (STCW A-VI/6-1) 
  • Medical First Aid (STCW A-VI/4-1) 
  • Advanced Fire Fighting (STCW A-VI/3) 
  • Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats other than fast rescue boats (STCW A-VI/2-1)
  • GMDSS GOC (STCW A-IV/2)

  • Basic Navigation cluster
  • International Collision Regulations
  • Maritime English
  • Basic Meteorology 
  • Yacht Technique cluster 
  • Yacht Manoeuvring 
  • ECDIS (optional)

10 days 

15 days with ECDIS (optional)
